Brandon Flowers & Co. have announced the reissue of the band’s iconic album Sam’s Town, which of course, included the cult hit “When You Were Young,” a song that sits side-by-side next to many other indie anthems the band has produced over the years (i.e. “Mr. Brightside”).

Let’s be honest, if you haven’t jammed along to either of the two songs in a car with your friends or even by yourself, are you even living?

The Sam’s Town 2XLP reissue will include two new tracks: one original titled “Peace of Mind,” and a, and I kid you not, ‘Pet Shop Boys Stars Are Blazing Mix’ of the album’s original “Read My Mind.”

What exactly a ‘Pet Shop Boys Stars Are Blazing Mix’ is I’m not certain, but it’s bound to be good. Lead vocalist Brandon Flowers has proven with his sophomore solo record The Desired Effect that he really doesn’t care what people think, so, there’s that.

Along with the vinyl reissue of Sam’s Town, the band is slated to play two shows in Vegas at none other than Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall. Now that’s just perfect. Accompanying the tour will be a tour through ‘The Killers’ Las Vegas,’ and all proceeds will be donated to Las Vegas’ homeless and addiction recovery charities.

Where else to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the band’s sophomore record than at Sam’s Town?

The Killers will perform two dates on September 30 and October 1. You can stream the album below.
